In its bid to further boost the adoption of cashless transactions in the country, the Indian government is planning to launch the second phase of an organized thrust to bolster digital payments in India starting January next year.
According to a report from BGR India, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Ministry of Information Technology are working together to lay down the plan for promoting digital payments from January onwards.
The report further suggests that the logo and jingle are being designed for the next phase of digital transaction promotion in the country and all ministries will come up with their own plan to contribute in the government’s efforts.
