Networking company Zyxel Communications on Monday launched Aurora, an indoor night vision camera that enables users to monitor their homes live in full HD and colour with real-time mobile notifications.
With the two-way audio feature, users can record whatever is happening around the camera and one can also give commands by speaking through their smart phones.
The Aurora camera comes with 16GB storage. The company claimed that 16GB is sufficient for a whole week of full-day recording in high definition."With the addition of Aurora to our portfolio, we wanted to provide home users with more well-rounded digital home solutions and be their reliable networking ally," said Bill Su, Assistant Vice President of Zyxel`s Smart Living Business Unit, in a statement.
With its triangle shape and the complimentary accessories in box, Aurora can cover every corner with versatile placement options, including flat surfaces, magnetic surface, camera tripod, ceilings and walls.
Users can manage the camera with the Aurora app. After setting up the camera, users can watch or record videos, set up zone detection or event-triggered recording for precise area monitoring and receive instant push notifications when any incidents are detected.
"With the Aurora camera and the comprehensive mobile app, we are putting the entire home at the user`s fingertips and making digital life easy and convenient," Bill added.
The Aurora accessories, including alarm beeper and Power over Ethernet (PoE) modules will be available in the second quarter of 2017.
